my website is getting about 2-3 views a day. sometimes none. and i have gotten into the habit of spamming my website at times. and i do not want that. how can i get people to see my website, for free? i already posted it on twitter and face-book. and i barely get any traffic there!

The easy ways are discussions, forums, classifieds etc. But if you do good search engine optimization you will get a permanent traffic source. You better refer sites like webmaster magazine (http://www.juzle.com) for more details. They have good information on this.
