Is their a number/range of traffic a website needs to get to be paid a sum of money? (ex. 5,000 people visiting daily would equal how much money?)

Depends on the deal I know pwople who get 2cent a hit and others that get 5 cents a hit, depends on who is paying you to put ads on the site.

There is no set value/rate.
Its all dependant on what the company offer, what the webowner takes or if its done through a website, its rates.
The more traffic the better – for starters.
But you only get paid for clicks on some sponsor links, like GoogleAds.
But other affiliate links/banners actually require people to click on their links and then purchase product from their web site (within 30-90 days). On those sites, you only get paid if the sponsor sells product.
You have to have a lot of traffic to make any real money.
