One thing I do know is that you need to be careful on doing the Survey’s online. Instead of paying you with cash, they pay you with products. Some are useless to you.

Earning a large income on line takes time. Avoid the sites that claim you will make thousands instantly – you won;t but through paying them, they will.

I wrote a hub on Advice-on-working-from-home you can copy and paste this name into your search line and find it on hubpages… it’s not a commercial, but will give you ideas on what to look for, how to evaluate companies, things to ask, etc.
Or you can go to hubpages and search for user learntosucceed.

There’s a hub on mlm-legality-test , compensation plans, and various scams I have written about. The advice on working from home, mlm legaity test and compensation plans will be of the most benefit… THEN you will know how to select the best company for YOU…. not the person who just wants your sign up.

How can I keep myself on the right track so I get all the things accomplished I need to get done on a daily basis with out falling into the pitfalls of working from home?

That is very hard. It takes alot of discipline to not get distracted by life at home, especially if you share it with other family members. Here is what helped me out:

The best way i found was to “set” working hours for myself and close my office door. If I couldn’t get myself into work mode and concentrate, I wouldn’t get much done.

Also what helps is making a “to-do” list for the day at the beginning of each morning. Be realistic with the list and tell yourself your not going to do anything else until you get these done. If you have to, get a few things done and have a little break, just like you would at work, just dont get off track.

Lastly, find what distracts you and eliminate it! If its browsing the internet on non work related things, try getting a filter that you can set to block you during certain hours to help keep you focused. Always get dressed, its too easy to be lazy when still in pj’s. Maybe you need to turn off the radio show and listen to a soft cd for some noise. You get the idea, its nice to work from home, but if you don’t work, you loose the home…

Keep at it, you will find what works for you.

People like lawyers who work from home make money; so do psychiatrists and doctors whose offices often attach to their homes. The law and medicine are not exactly businesses, however.

The idea that you can sit at a desk with a computer and rake in enough money to live on is a fantasy, as far as I can see. If it were that simple and easy, wouldn’t the people who want to sell you on the idea be doing it themselves rather than letting you in on the secret? I’ve never answered one of these ads–though I do enter the Publisher’s Clearing House on line (total winnings to date: $ 0.00) because it is free.

Luck to you, but I’m afraid the only way you can live decently is to work hard, and if you find something you enjoy doing, that’s not so bad.

There are trade groups for travel agents, and joining one and learning from current members would be a very good way to begin a travel agency business. Or — she could work for an established travel agent for a while to learn the ropes.
